Inspired by Christopher McDougall’s quote, “We run more when times are tough,” Cirk La Putyka features a monumental treadmill at the heart of its set design, serving as a metaphor for our relationship with the passage of time and reflecting the frenetic pace of our contemporary lives. On stage, like tireless marathon runners, four acrobats and two musicians engage in a relentless race, covering kilometres while performing dizzying stunts, intoxicating dances, and fiery musical scores.

Over its thirteen years of existence, Czech company Cirk La Putyka has forged a unique style: an innovative, multi-genre, and multicultural contemporary circus that blends acrobatics with theatre, dance, and music. Over time, they have created more than 30 shows, collaborated with over 300 artists from 25 different nationalities, and delighted audiences in 21 countries with over 2,000 performances!
