Since Shayan began performing at the theater in Rumelange 8 years ago, he developed a passion for the stage and connecting with people. Nearly 5 years ago, he ventured into stand-up comedy, where he initially gained experience in English and French, until he felt it was more than necessary to launch the first-ever stand-up comedy show in Luxembourgish in January 2020. This was made possible with the full support of the Commune de Pétange. Shayan also performs in German and, since October 2024, in Portuguese. According to him, stand-up comedy is like boxing or a solo combat sport. You’re alone in the ring and have to do your best to avoid getting hit. Sometimes you win, and sometimes you lose. Either way, you get up and keep fighting.

Our MC for the show, Richard Fox, is a 31-year-old comedian who, for the past 5 years, has been showing his playful side on stage. He is a specialist in improvisation and enjoys interacting with the audience.

After 3 years in the Luxembourg comedy scene, Luca – a nurse and young father – presents his latest material. After shows in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany, he is now regularly active in Luxembourg, with a focus on our chaotic times.

Our headliner for the evening, Scott Reuter, has been part of the English stand-up scene for just over 3 years. Along with his regular performances in Luxembourg, he also performs on bigger stages in cities like Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Cologne, and Basel. Now, after a long wait, he’s finally bringing his full show to Luxembourgish.
